Deferred Action Update

10/04/2012

Already CIS reports 82,361 Deferred Action cases were accepted for processing.  Out of that amount about 1600 cases are ready for review and thus far only 36 have been approved!

Since the month of August, CIS rejected a total of 2,805 requests for Deferred Action.  There is a 96% acceptance rate.

From Florida CIS received 5,077 cases.  Not surprising, the most cases filed with CIS came from California, Texas and New York.

The highest number of applicants (46,391) seeking Deferred Action were Mexicans.  After Mexico, El Salvador, South Korea, Honduras, Guatemala, Peru, Brazil, Colombia, and Ecuador, rounded out the top 10 representative countries.
