Mr. Guanaga is a native New Yorker raised in South Florida.  He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois in 1994.

Prior to embarking on an independent career, Mr. Guanaga worked for several law firms, where he gained diverse legal experience in Immigration and Nationality Law, Business Law, Family Law, Entertainment Law, Insurance Law, and Civil Litigation.

In the year 2000, Mr. Guanaga started his own legal business, serving an international clientele that ranges from Latin American and Asian entrepreneurs to local businesses and individuals.  For 15 years Mr. Guanaga worked independently until he joined another boutique firm specializing in professional and entrepreneurial immigration visas and civil litigation matters.

Mr. Guanaga is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and is a member of the Bar for the Southern District of Florida, the 11^th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. 

In 2016 Mr. Guanaga became a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist proficient in the area of AML and BSA compliance.
